Battle against the mud
The wall heater pipes had to be covered with mud in the first stuccoing-step. Then, we put a layer of cloth (like from potato sacks) over that to keep the mud from cracking. Finally, we mudded a thin smooth layer on top. |

A view of the entry-way. The front door is covered in plastic. The big black pipes are from the mudding-machine. All in all, we lived in complete chaos from Halloween to December 1st. |

A view of the upstairs hall looking toward the WC. We covered all the inner walls (which had already been hand-stuccoed) with sheets of plastic to protect them from flying mudballs. |

Our bathroom. Obviously there was no chance of becoming cleaner in here. We did "shower-touring" from Halloween till December 20th! |
